Visa

Funds

  • Funds held for 6 months (bank statements, loan, scholarship)
  • Must complete Financial Summary Form (FSF)

Arrival

  • Landing Stamp valid 90 days → must register for IRP card within 90 days
  • Stamp 2 permits: study full-time + work 20 hrs/week (term) / 40 hrs/week (holidays)
  • Carry: passport, visa, LOA, tuition receipt, proof of funds, insurance, accommodation details
  • Pre-departure checklist: tickets, housing, cash (€300–500), adapters, SIM


At the Ireland Border:

  • Officer may ask about course, finances, or housing
  • Receive Landing Stamp (valid 90 days)
  • Show passport with visa
  • Family allow only for dependents of PhD students or govt. scholarship holders
