Pre-Departure Checklist:

  • passport, your visa or residence permit, your university acceptance letter, and proof of accommodation and health insurance


At the Dutch Border:

  • Travel within the MVV validity period
  • Register with your municipality (BRP registration) and obtain a BSN (citizen service number)
  • Achieve sufficient academic progress (usually at least 50% of required ECTS per year), to keep your residency permit valid
